No Homework

Some how Patrick & Grandpa got on the subject of Patrick & homework. Patrick told him only one classmate ever had homework but not him because he IS so smart! Yeah that's my son! lol

Bad day at school!

When asked by Grandpa if Patrick had a good day at school, Patrick told him NO! When asked what happened, Patrick told Grandpa he had to go up & down too many stairs! No really, very seriously!!!

Last night Patrick told Keith that he was scared the teachers may step on him since he is a tiny alien!

Handy Manny

Of course as I am trying to get out the door with both kids my son comes down and is covered in something and smells pretty good, so I ask him what he did up in his room and that he now has to change his clothes since they are covered in something. He tells me that Handy Manny needed to be softer. Now I am so confused so I tell him that we will be going upstairs so he can show me what he did. We get to his room and he said "Look Mommy, I wanted Handy Manny to be softer!" Well he certainly chose the right lotion to use! My large bottle of Burt's Bees Milk & Honey Lotion! Thank you Burt's Bees for helping Handy Manny!!! LOL

Emergency

 So this morning my son starts saying we need to call his grandma, grandpa, great grandma, aunt jess, drew, lois and everybody else because this was an emergency since he could not find his angry birds game set! At least he didn't ask for the police and fire dept.!

StarTrek

So the other day my son is sitting with me at the computer and he looks over and see the teeny, tiny Star Trek figures sitting on the desk and says to me that's what happens when you watch too much Star Trek! I have not found out what is suppose to happen if you watch to much but it was funny anyways!

Chik-Fil-A

Only old little boys go in the hanging car at Chik-Fil-A! This was told to me while in the play area.

Ice Cream

My mother-in-law called yesterday and I let my son answer. She talked to him about him coming over and said she would need his help to make ice cream. (this is the second time that they would be making ice cream) He said ok Grandma, we need to make more ice cream cuz grandpa ate all the ice cream we made last time right? lol, he was very serious when he asked this!

Ladybug

So I was outside and had a ladybug land on me. Great, I will bring it in and show my son the ladybug crawling on me. Oh what a bad mommy I am, my poor son was scared of the ladybug crawling around on me and said take it back outside, I told him that it was ok the ladybug was only tickling my arm and that I just thought he would like to see the ladybug. Well my son gets off the couch and runs for the front door saying "I'll hold the door open for you Mommy!" Atleast he didn't try to stomp it like he does anytime he sees an ant!

How to potty

My son had spent the night at his grandparents house when he turns to his grandfather and says do you know how to potty? His grandfather looks at him so he says, well you have to pull your shirt up like this and then make bubbles in the potty! This was all very serious- grandpa needed to know exactly how to potty!
